I liked how seamless it was to install. It’s also decent looking. And it worked well until for a little while until it didn’t. Unfortunately, the product only lasted about 2 months. For some reason the outlet exploded and left singe marks on my chicken run. I’m lucky it didn’t start a fire. The vent was plugged into a heavy duty outdoor extension cord that I’ve used many times before and have had no issues with it.Also, if I could make a comment on the solar powered feature of the product, the solar panel worked great when it was in full sun, but had no backup storage power. So if it got cloudy, or say someone just walked in front of it, it would shut off. It would be nice to have some kind of backup power so that it runs not only through the day but the night as well. It’s very inconvenient to have to change the power source every day if you’re trying to take advantage of the solar power feature.

The package is as described. The fan has good air flow. And solar panel appear to be good quality. It was easy to install, however it last maybe two month and now will not run. There is not damage to wires or the battery or anything else that I can which would cause the fan to stop working outside of trashy battery life.UPDATE:After a couple days posting this review the company reached out to me and made it right. The company obviously stands by its products and its customers. I will update on the fans longevity.

First the good points.... For a small fan it moves quite a bit of air. Good performance. Size as described. Solar panel looks to be of good quality. After the first charge, 5 hours in the sun, I moved the fan inside without the Solar panel hooked up and the fan ran on batteries for over 5 hours. It was still running at full speed when I shut it off.Now for the bad... it's not whisper quite but not too loud. My major complaint is the light weight plastic case. Very thin and the sun will eat this up in no time.

All Plastic. We have it hooked directly to the solar storage box and it doesn’t spin. We take the solar storage box out of the loop and hook it directly to the soar panel and it spins when I manally start the spin, but it spins so SLOW IT DOESNT PUT OUT ENOUGH AIR TO OPEN THE FLAPS. PURE JUNK!! We bought two and they both function the same. JUNK!!

This is a great fan. I have it in my 6x8 greenhouse and it works great. Very easy to install. Would definitely recommend!

I am using this on my pontoon boat when the cover is on to keep it dried out. Without it, rain and high humidity cause algae to grow on the carpet I was pleased at the amount of airflow it provides. Mind you, I'm pulling air out and not reliant on it to feel the breeze across a room. This isn't intended for that kind of use. The solar panel does a good job of keeping the fan running and the battery provides a nice reserve to keep it running into the night. The plastic may be a little light on the louvres, but adequate. For the price, it was a good purchase.

UPDATE: The fan quit working 3 days ago. Sadly, it did not last a year and this particular fan is no longer being carried by Chtoocy. I inadvertantly ordered the next size up, but it will need to be returned as it does not fit in the space needed.********What I liked about this fan was that it was able to run off electric as well! The solar panel works great too! I have left it on the electric because it has been so unbearably hot, even at night. I am using it in my chicken coop and this has been a lifesaver! The birds are as happy as could be with this weather.
