I used the 4" plastic border for the sidewalk, and the 2" for the border of my folks' flowerbed. Easy to use. Although the roll comes with small amount of these plastic spikes, you will certainly require more for almost any project, definitely if you intend to use the whole roll. Otherwise, there will be bubbles and bows wherever you put the border material. Easy to use. Put these in every hole, if possible, and you should have a lovely finished product.

A lot cheaper than what are sold at the local hardware stores. Very sturdy, however, I still used a screw driver to poke a hole on the PVC edging landscape to help the stakes.

Good value for the price. I have used over 500 of them now on a large project with only one that broke because I hit it at the wrong angle. I used a rubber mallet to install, and as long as you hit it straight, you shouldn't have a problem. However, I am in Florida and my soil is mostly loamy with some clay- nothing rocky.

The actual part that goes down into the ground is very sound structurally but the top is a bit flimsy or cheap.

Used these to install edging for my landscape rocks. Since you only get a small pack included with the edging these allowed me to build a stronger border.

As I have been working on a large landscaping project, I found these edging spikes to be essential. They have been perfect for anchoring the plastic edging around the garden bed and attaching the landscape fabric tightly to the soil. However, I have noticed one minor drawback. The spikes might break if the ground is extremely hard. In certain spots in my yard, where the soil is hard as a rock, I had to be extra careful to stabilize the spike as I drove it in, as some of the spikes I used earlier broke. However, overall, these are great landscape spikes available at a competitive price.
