The stock carburetor from the factory is designed to meet Import Regulations ... not peak performance. Once you install or modify an exhaust or intake, you have put your bike into a leaner condition that will eventually destroy your engine due to heat from running lean. If you notice any popping, you are extremely lean. Our jet kit provides the parts and installation instructions to enrich all the circuits in the carb, to fix this problem, and add performance you can feel in the seat. This is a comprehensive jet kit, addressing all throttle positions, throttle response, and each kit is custom made to your bike and its modifications. I originally ordered a kit for my KZ440 with stock carbs, then I realized my biggest problem were holes in my diaphragms so I replaced the carbs with 2 VM34 slides and they sent me a kit for those carbs. They sent 4 different sizes just in case the main ones they sent were too rich/lean. I put the ones they recommended I try first and they were perfect. I rode around town for a bit and check my spark plugs and they’re now a light brown color and my throttle delay is gone. Would highly recommend going with this kit!

I built a custom 81 kz440 chopper and used this kit to get the cabrs right after going to velosity stacks and 10 inch exhaust pipes. Worked like a dream! After that success I removed the airbox from a 83 Honda 750 shadow, once again the Sigma kit and customer service was spot on. Both bike run perfect, no flatspots no hard start ups, just perfect.
