Well, it's a printer cover... For the price, I was expecting PVC or vinyl or something, but it's that woven stuff (recycled plastic maybe?) like reusable shopping bags are made from. I very well may have missed that in the product description (my bad!).My printer lives under my desk and tough I try to be careful, I tend to drop and pill quite a bit with the help of my cats! I will give props to it though, it does protect the printer from dust, dropped stuff and cat hair... I do also like the flap on the front; if I want to just print something quickly and not use the scanner, etc., the flap makes that easy.
