Funziona bene ma secondo me punge un pò troppo la corda se non si sta attenti si rischia di rovinarla quando la si toglie da essa perché i dentini risutano taglienti per le fibre, principalmente quando si apre la maniglia e si cerca di sfilare via la corda o si scorre la corda in senso contrario sempre con maniglia aperta. Avrei studiato dei dentini altrettanto efficaci ma che non rovinino la corda con certe manovre.

Ottimo dispositivo per risalita e bloccaggio funzione come sempre bene del resto è un must per chi si arrampica o per chi come me lo usa in emergenza e salvataggio fluviale.

My frist ascender. Like the extra holes for carabiners. Grip is comfortable and I have larger-than-average hands. The cam-out mechanism on this one is ever-so-slightly finicky to open, but it catches easily and quickly. So far have only used on Singing Rock R44 10.5mm rope. Grabs well and hasn't caused visible damage as yet.

Does the job and is certified. I didn't want to buy one of the uncertified knockoffs that one can find. I use this to climb the mast of my sailboat. It allows me to climb unassisted and is easier than a block and tackle. Also. much less expensive for two of these, a few carabiners, and an autoblock, than buying two double blocks and 200 ft of climbing line.

Works well. I used it as a positioning and ascent/descent device for painting the sloped sheet metal roof of my grain bin. My feet slipped a couple of times and this ascender did its job flawlessly.

Decent price on this product. Has a good range (8-13) of applicable rope. Slid right up rope, little difficult to disengage with some tension and descend. Otherwise great.
