My kid lives these boots! Easy to put in and take off and warm and comfy. My Son loves the cool ice spikes and has no issues using the boots. We have several pairs of boots from this company.

I love watching my kiddo enjoy the winter weather but I don't think I am alone here when I say that I VERY QUICKLY start to tire of all of the help needed to get in and out of winter gear. Boots are the worst, too, because they need to be tightly secured and so they often have all sorts of laces and straps that are cumbersome and even worse when wearing gloves. These boots have an amazing system of lace magic. There is a simple dial-type device that tightens and loosens the laces and it really works. It's a breeze to maneuver, so even kids with gloves on can get the boots on and off. The inside is a nice, fuzzy, warm faux fur that is cozy but also doesn't look like they are dressed in an Eskimo costume. The design is sporty and nice. The sole is super strong and grippy AND there is a hardcore ice grip bracket that you can pop out for extra traction. (This is kind of scary and poky, so it probably won't be used all the time, but it's a great option for winter hiking in particular.) These are so sturdy and well made and can easily be used over a few seasons or as hand me downs. Well worth the price.

I ordered these in size 5 for my child who is starting to move into size 5 in shoes.These have a lot of room to grow. It's just fall in the upper Midwest so I'm sure my child's feet will be a bit bigger by the we really need these but I feel like they'll last all winter.They seem well padded, warm and easy to put on and take off.My child likes the pattern on it and says they're comfortable too.I like that they have a build in cleat. We have kids cleats to use when ice fishing but they're kinda inconvenience and difficult to put on kids shoes, I like that these have them built in and easy to engage.

Inside is pretty comfortable though the tip is a little small, the spikes are useful in some cases but they are slightly loud when walking on hard surfaces even when closed. The twist to tighten is very convenient but if the knob gets bumped it can loosen.

Our son outgrew his boots and needed a new pair for snow and hiking. These kids boots fit him really well! I ordered a half size up just in case and they fit fine. The black color with blue looks really nice. I like the easy tie dial, you just turn the dial to loosen or tighten the laces, which is really convenient. These boots have a little metal cleat at the bottom of the heel that can be pulled out if needed for extra grip, which is nice and not because it could possibly scratch a floor if not used properly. Overall, my son says these boots are very comfortable and they look good.
