I originally thought this would be great for my 6 yo football player since the padded parts weren’t as stiff as some other shirts we’ve had… however after washing this only 2 times, the padded section on the chest and lower back are so messed up I can’t get the “bead-like” pads to lay flat. They’re all bunched up in the pad pocket. Giant waste of money!!

This was my 9 year old son's first year playing tackle football so I didn't know what to get really other than the basic things. I saw other kids wearing shirts like this and figured it would be a good idea to add a little extra protection. My son is very picky about the way clothes fit and this he had no problem at all with. Overall a great buy. Wish I could find them in a 3 pack or something at a discounted rate just so we don't have to do laundry every night after practice but still not complaining as he likes the fit.
