This chuck, after you use thread-locker is great, fits my 1/2 impact driver, and so far handles decent force. The downside is that before I used red thread-locker, it kept coming unscrewed and being a pain.

I got this so that I could use a cordless 1/2" driver as a drill.The keyless drill chuck is of surprisingly good quality. It has a detent style locking mechanism that maintains a firm grip on drill bits. A 1/2" bit fit without issue. The chuck accepts 1/2" NF mounting shafts.The adapter is 1/2" male NF for attaching to the drill chuck and has a 1/2" square drive female socket for attaching to tools. The left-hand threaded mounting screw is also included. In addition, a cross pin and o-ring are available for pre-drilled 1/2" square drive tools.This unit doesn't take up much room in the toolbox and works well with codrless drivers.Good item at a good price.
