The stainless steel shank comes with a black plastic flange on the front and a compression ring on the back. Forged brass lock nut. 3/16" Id beer line connection.

I recently broke the tap handle off in the faucet of my keezer and needed a new shank immediately. This one fit perfectly and was exactly what I was expecting.

It leaked like a sieve. I did everything I could think of. I eventually went down to my local homebrew shop, and bought all new gaskets. These gaskets were much thicker than the ones that came with the shank. It does not leak any longer. They spent good money developing a solid feeling shank, then went cheap on the gaskets.

The retaining ring was in the wrong and groove when it arrived. I didn't notice at first and it leaked really bad. Move the retaining ring to the correct group and it works great. I lost a pint of homebrew so Kegco loses a star.

Item is exactly what it says it is a beer shank all stainless and works well with my kegco taps and my old and new Perlick taps.Would buy again.

I bought this for the second tap on my kegerator; the first used a conventional shank with a separate tailpiece. For the second tap I was going to go the same route, but noted that I could save a few dollars and (almost trivial) hassle with a one-piece design. I was a little unsure as to how this design is manufactured (i.e. are they milled from one solid piece or is it just a regular shank with a tailpiece welded on, perhaps shoddily and with hard-to-clean deadspace?). But for the same price as a conventional shank, I was willing to give it a try.Happily, this product appears to have been milled from one piece of stainless stock, meaning that there are no sanitation issues - in fact, regarding cleaning-in-place, this is actually more sanitary than the conventional design. And obviously, you don't have to buy a tail piece, washer, or beer nut. I do wish the manufacturer would offer a 3" or even 2" version, because my third tap location won't allow for such a long shank. However, I'm happy with my purchase, and recommend this to anyone whose setup needs or can tolerate a 4" shank.

Great shank. Have served 10 gallons through it and cleans up so easy. I have 1 chrome shank to get rid of and I'll be all ss.

The dimensions of this shank were as described, but it did NOT come with an integrated hose barb. It still works, but I ended up having to spend another $12 to buy the additional parts needed from an LBS.
