**Review of The Icon Maternity Skinny Ankle Jean | The Icon Crop Boot in White**Navigating the world of maternity wear can be daunting, especially when it comes to finding the right pair of jeans that balance style, comfort, and functionality. I recently purchased The Icon Maternity Skinny Ankle Jean in white, intrigued by its promise of a stylish yet comfortable fit. While it boasts some appealing features, I found myself quite underwhelmed, particularly in terms of value for money.Firstly, the design of the jeans is indeed chic. The subtle flaring at the hem provides a unique twist that allows you to showcase your favorite footwear, which is a nice touch for those looking to express their style even during pregnancy. The mid-rise cut is also flattering, accentuating your figure in a way that milder fits sometimes miss. However, the claim of using 'Flawless denim with sculpting stretch' left much to be desired. When worn, the jeans felt like they were lacking the robust structure often found in higher-quality denim. The 'sculpting stretch' seemed more like a gimmick; while the jeans do give a bit of flexibility, they do not hold their shape well after a few hours of wear. The jeans sagged and lost their tailored appearance, which is a significant downside for someone seeking a polished look.Moving on to the flexible maternity waistband, while it was a bonus for comfort, it didn't offer much support either. I found myself constantly adjusting the fit, which should never be the case with jeans designed for maternity wear. Now, let's address the biggest elephant in the room: the price. At this price point, one would expect not only superior quality but also longevity in wear, neither of which these jeans deliver. Comparatively, I have bought jeans from Walmart that are more durable and functional, without the hefty price tag. For the same amount of money, I could have invested in multiple pairs of better-quality jeans.Overall, The Icon Maternity Skinny Ankle Jean in white tries to deliver flair and comfort but falls short on durability, support, and value. While it may catch your eye with its trendy design, I would recommend exploring other options that provide better quality and functionality at a more reasonable price. Maternity fashion shouldn’t break the bank, and sadly, this offering does not reflect that ethos.

These jeans are so soft and they feel really high quality, and they have just a bit of stretch to them which is perfect for my growing body. I didn’t notice a lot of color leaking during washing which I know can happen sometimes with darker jeans. They’re super comfortable and hit right at my ankles (I’m 5’6”).

These jeans are so comfy! The workmanship is excellent, with even stitching throughout. I may have been able to order a smaller size, but I'll probably grow into them soon enough 🙂Even though they are a bit loose in the waist and thigh, they are so comfy! And the heavier weight fabric will make them good for winter. Very high quality jeans.
