Nice chunky hood with thick aluminum. Maybe a little too thick? The aluminum finish is more matte, compared to the Leica Q2’s finish if you are sensitive about matching the looks

I'm impressed by the huge difference this lens hood makes to my photographs.Everything seems to have slightly better contrast due to the shading this lens hood provides.The construction is solid being as it is made from strong metal not plastic.It's affordable at only around 40 bucks - well worth the money.Nice Addition to My Leica Q3.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Looks great on the lens. We all know how appearances matter when it comes to Leica, heh.It is made from all metal, and does a decent job of cutting flares down.Realize that this is a proprietary lens hood, made for the Leica cameras only.Other than that, thumbs up! It's a good looking lens hood that will help you out in bright sunlight.

Fits my Leica Q3 43 with black Alphagvrd skin perfectly. I have this hood and the B+W nano uv filter and am able to use macro mode with no issues. It does have a marking but it’s hidden.

I want to report that the Sensai 67mm squeeze lenscap covers the inner front opening of the JJC lens hood perfectly. I prefer this outer rim lenshood to the supplied inner 49 mm lens hood that fits into the UV filter grooves of the camera but is very fiddly and easily jumps off with my stubby fingers. Try to order one from a photo retailer , just 5$ for a much better solution that even gives a better protection to the Q3 !
