Once again, in good conscience I have to correct reviews left by people who shouldn't be writing reviews. I read reviews prior to purchasing products, which is why I take reviews seriously. Someone trying to be clever who clearly doesn't know what they're doing measured the spacers and exclaimed they are 1/4" and not 3/8" of an inch as stated...They even included a photo and checked two different bags, can you believe it? The only issue is....they measured the spacer wrong. These are in fact 3/8" when measured how they're supposed to be used - across the width, not the depth! These are supposed to be installed as illustrated on the product page as well as in my photo. They're not supposed to be installed sideways! Aside from knowing how to use them correctly, there's not much else to review. They worked great for my brick veneer installation. A few suggestions when using them: Don't leave them installed to be buried in the mortar. It serves no purpose and when tooling the mortar, there's a chance of them deforming the joint and possibly even poking through (depending on the type of joint finishing method you choose). Secondly, when setting them during the brick installation, don't push them all the way in against the wall. Instead, leave them away from the wall at the front-edge of the brick with a space behind them. This allows for much easier removal since some of them may be tight when the bricks are set. Then go back and use a pair of needle-nose pliers to pluck them out. NOTE: I purchased this item on Amazon for full price and have no affiliation to the seller. I try to write helpful, unbiased and insightful reviews because I also read reviews prior to making my own buying decisions. I notice many reviews lack helpful information, are not well written or give poor reviews based on not following directions, failing to read the product details prior to purchasing, inexperience or lack of skill. Writing useful reviews helps pay it forward.

I've always wanted to install a brick face feature wall but had a hard time finding special spacers for brick pattern .these t shaped spacers did the trick could not have done it without them. Needed three bags for a 8x8 wall. Once you use them they stay in place and you then grout right over them since they are recessed and flat against the wall as the brick veneer itself protrudes for the grouting

These spacers are 1/4 inch not 3/8. Bought two bags and neither was the right size

The spacer works well in most situation when installing pavers in leveling sand. The sand must be well compacted or the spacer will slide under the pavers requiring the paver to be removed and reset. If the spacers were thicker they would work better with pavers. The three arms on the spacer works OK when a joint aligns with a flat side on another paver, but takes extra effort to cut one of the legs to space two pavers. Overall the spacers are OK , but not ideal.
