This 7mm Dia laser module of very small and well manufactured. It is sold as a dot beam shape. It is actually a short Ellipse. The smallest diameter laser with a round beam from this vendor is 10mm Dia (VLM-435-60).

While it works fine, it does not display a dot it’s a really short line. Functions fine for what I need but not what I was expecting.

I replaced a burned-out laser guide in my chop saw (Porter Cable/Delta 3802L). Fairly easy replacement. This laser is bright and focused. The saw's power supply worked great - very little messing around with wiring was required. The original laser ($105 to replace !!) gave a line, this replacement laser is only a point of light, but it falls exactly where you need it - where you want to cut.

ソーコムに取り付け夜間の害獣駆除に使ってます。ただの筒にユニットがねじ込んであるだけなので防水性はなく耐久性も不明ですが頻繁に使うわけでもなく射程距離内で使うだけなので十分です

Firstly the laser isn’t centred so when you fit this or do what ever you are using it for the dot won’t be aligned up. After many hours of lots of minor adjustments to the fitting I got it as best as possible. Great.... happy days :) I thought until 3 weeks later when the laser went dim and after about another week it died completely. Battery replaced and connections checked but no sadly the laser was confirmed dead. Shame Amazon doesn't vet it’s sellers / items more closely as like this there is a lot of items not worth even considering.

All I wanted was to have sharks with frickin' laser beams attached to their heads! Let me just tell you, it’s impossible! First off, this laser was too small for the intended purpose. Not all of them are weapons grade. Second, the shark was totally uncooperative and unpredictable. Do yourself a favor and research, research, research if you hope to avoid complete disappointment.

このサイズと値段なら何でも許せる。常時点灯使用が可能で、アルカリ単三電池2つで一週間は点灯し続ける。(一週間から先はテストしていません)できれば配線取り出し口が接着剤か何かで塞がってくれると更に嬉しい。

So far it's working great! I'm not a trained engineer, but I simply took an old USB cable, cut off one end and attached the matching colored wires (for power) to the lasers wires and it's working just dandy. I used USB to keep it as close to the power level that is recommended for this, which I understand is 5volt max (from the Q and A section of the product page).
