Transform your space with our authentic and rustic 3D Barnwood Wall Panels. These planks are designed to give a ""pop" aesthetic to your projects, integrating rough textures and grooves for depth. Made from reclaimed barn wood, they offer a versatile and natural way to add warmth and beauty to your walls and ceilings.
The 3D panels can be installed on a variety of surfaces, including walls and ceilings. We highly recommend that you install the planks on a dark, uniform-colored surface. As with all wood materials, it is sensitive to humidity, and contracts when dry and expands when exposed to moisture. The micro-shrinkage of wood might create small gaps between the planks, causing the color of the surface to be visible in the area of installment. In case you are utilizing glue to install them, it is imperative to ensure that the surface is dry and free of dust and debris, to facilitate proper adhesion.
We recommend you use high-quality construction adhesive. If you intend to use nails, please ensure that you have a flat surface, and to use these recommended nail sizes: 1-inch finish nails, 18ga brad or 23ga pin nails. For easy installation, we recommend the use of tools such as a fine tooth saw, miter saw, miter box, hammer, ruler, staples, nails, and a carpenter's combination square.
Installation Disclaimer:
Interwood is not accountable for any incidents that occur while installing weathered barnwood paneling. It is important to note that the boards are not sanded entirely flat. Uniform reclaimed wood pieces are also not guaranteed, and installers should expect natural defects and subtle uneven surfaces.

Preparing for Installation
Acclimatization Requirements for Panels
To minimize the expansion and contraction of your panels, follow these steps before installation:
- Open all packages and lay the panels flat with spacers between them to allow air circulation around each panel. Allow the panels to acclimatize for 36 hours in the room where they will be installed.
- Important! Do not attempt to acclimatize the panels in an unheated room, as this will not reflect the actual conditions and temperature of the room.
Requirements for Basements (Rooms Below Ground Level)
If the rooms are below ground level, install a vapor barrier between the studs and the sheathing. In rooms with high humidity levels, such as bathrooms or laundry rooms, acclimatization is necessary, and moisture protection measures should be applied. Expansion and contraction are characteristic features of all wood products due to changes in humidity levels in the room. The manufacturer is not responsible for any movement of the panels.
Wall Preparation Requirements
If your walls are in good condition, you can glue and nail the panels directly onto drywall, plywood, or existing panel sheathing. On uneven, cracked, or very rough walls, repair and level the surface so the panels fit snugly against a sturdy wall.
Panel Installation Methods
Horizontal Installation
Install the first row of panels with the groove side down and 1/4 inch (0.6 cm) from the floor. Ensure the bottom row of panels is level. As you install the panels, make sure they are staggered. When installing the top panel, leave a 1/4 inch (0.6 cm) gap between the ceiling and the panels. If the wall is longer than 8 feet (2.4 m), stagger the ends of the panels.
Vertical Installation
Leave a 1/4 inch (0.6 cm) gap at the top and bottom corners and start from the inside corner, working from left to right if you are right-handed or from right to left if you are left-handed. Keep the groove side to the starting point and the tongue side to the working direction. Attach the first panel and nail it to hold it in place until the glue dries. Measure and install the next panels, carefully checking their vertical alignment as you work along the wall. The last panel may need to be trimmed to fit the corner.
Diagonal Installation
Start laying from the inside corner of the floor. Cut and install a triangular piece at a 45-degree angle to the corner, keeping the groove side to the starting point and the tongue side to the working direction. Nail and glue the triangular piece in the corner. Continue marking, cutting, and installing the remaining panels using the same procedures as above.
Ceiling Installation
Install the panels in the same way as for vertical or horizontal installation. Important: Ensure the panels are securely nailed and glued to a sturdy surface.

I covered two walls in the house with this product and love the result. Do follow the instructions and paint the wall black first so it flows better as you see the wall behind. These a pretty consistent in size but do vary since it is a reclaimed product. I found different species of wood in each pack. Overall the wife loves the final result.One problem with Amazon. I made multiple orders (5) and the 3 orders fullfilled by Amazon were not filled correctly. The seller worked with me and drop shipped what was missing and made it right. Make sure when you order to get it fulfilled by the seller not Amazon unless you are ordering 10sq ft. When I ordered 20, 30 and 60 sq ft from Amazon each time I only got 10 sq ft. Amazon needs to fix that but was not the sellers doing. I hope this small business can survive Amazon's need to get there act together.As you can see here i am missing a mirrorAmazon said I would have it in 3 days and a week later I am still waiting. Ugh...One more thing the thickness of the planks vary too. That is because the old wood is milled down and these are not deconstructed pallets merely packed and shipped. If you don't want the real deal and want a consisten Kmart product product look elsewhere. If you like vintage upcycling and rustic go buy you crap product elsewhere. Love this stuff it is real and looks good installed. If we didn't we would have stopped after the bathroom accent.

The barn wood came in 4 boxes. Color was fantastic, exactly what we wanted. Customer service was quick to respond. I would highly recommend painting a dark color behind the wall first as mentioned from another customer. There are a lot of imperfections that show through, but that's the beauty of old reclaimed wood. I would definitely use this product again!

This is a great product. There was a problem with shipping but after speaking with Amazon they contacted the seller "interwood" and Arthur made sure I received all the boxes. Recommend painting your wall a dark color before install so the hole and cracks in the boards blend in. This was an easy install using a small nail gun with 18 gauge brad nails. The difficult part is deciding on board placement. The boards are 2", 3" & 5" wide so they stack up nicely in various combinations. The lengths are 48", 32" 16" so its like putting a puzzle together. They are also different thicknesses. If you are expecting to have the same thickness across the wall this is not the product for you. Each piece is milled on the back and clean. I am super happy with the result and looking forward to doing a wall in my future studio. Thanks again to Arthur at Interwood for making sure my delivery came through after the Amazon mix up.

Unfortunately, none of the samples were labeled, so it was not easy to determine which one to order but beautiful wood colors & texture.
