How can you do without it. Getting rid of the plastic and hot glue plugs i created was a happy moment, but I love that Noone can look inside my garage, especially nosy mail carriers.Keeps mail in the box and no more on my s-class or the floor.Recommend it highly!

It’s a mail catcher for the mail slot. Number one requirement is that I can hang it up and it catches the mail. It says it’s adjustable, can slide the hangers to line up with the screws. But it cannot be! Way too wide. Requires cutting a new wider slot in the door and replacing the frame with a new one. Sticking it on will fail quickly. Summer temps here will not allow to stick for long. And it’s almost $40! Wishing doesn’t overcome the issues.(It is very sturdy.)

My mail slot is only about 8" wide so this is perfect for me. Make sure you measure your mail slot opening. If it's wider than 10", there's another one for up to 13".Strangely enough, ever since I installed it, I haven't been receiving mail, real or junk. I check it every day. 😀

Mail does not fall into bag. If flap is up then mail gets stuck against it and builds up and causes mail slot cover to remain open. If flap us down then mail shoots over it and lands on floor

looks ok. but it's rather too small for my maillot in the garage door. I didn't even try. with a Quick Look, I see it's already too small for my maillot. my opening is 10", so I thought this is ok based on the description, but as soon as I received the item, I figured that this might fit for smaller maillot like 8" .. my bad, but I think 10" is common size as mailslot, I guess that might be the reason why there were so many returns on this. the product itself seems pretty solid though.

My dog figured out how to tap the unit on the top and still gets to the mail man. The mail misses sometimes and gets eaten.

Our mail slot is next to our pantry cabinet doors. This is a great solution to catch mail and not bang the doors into our old mail catch. Great solution for us and sturdy enough for our needs. Easy to install.
