1. Due to the micro-pressure technology, it is normal to have large bubbles at the beginning of use.
2. After a period of use (after 1 or 2 days), foggy bubbles will appear.
You can adjust your air pump to choose the effect you like, the low gear is full of mist, and the high gear achieves high dissolved oxygen.

This Hygger bubbler creates a perfectly uniform curtain of bubbles that my shrimp love to play in. I was concerned as this is made from metal, and shrimp are sensitive to specific metals that I didn’t see any mention of, so I will wait and hope this doesn't contain any of those. Once I primed this according to the directions, I placed it in my tank and have had a wonderful result. I have it on a flow adjuster and the range out output is very impressive, as they remain uniform whether microscopic, or full sized. I will update my review if any ill effects are seen from the metal, but after a week in my tank all seems well, and I am very happy with the result.

I don't know what I was expecting from this bubbler but I couldn't be more pleased with it. I've been looking for one for a while, so when I came across this hygger one, I had to give it a try.This thing is very solidly built. It is quite heavy so doesn't require any sort of weights or anchors. I ordered the longest one and it looks great along the 18 inch width of my 75-gallon tank.It does produce very small bubbles but as the instructions say, a few larger ones are to be expected until it essentially "breaks in." Even if the bubble size didn't change, I'd be very happy with the large number of air bubbles it produces.It's basically silent, sans the bigger bubbles bursting at the surface. It's still not too loud to watch TV or do other things that require concentration or focus.It came with a little suction cup to help hold the air line against the tank side and that works well.I'm very excited to see how this bar helps increase the health of my fish and the plants in his tank.

Great nano air bubbler by HyggerPros: It's quiet and works really well. The bubbles are super tiny and look great. Looks to be a good quality and came with great instructions to successfully set it up.Cons: It does not have an air pump included. It does not claim to, either, but don't be dumb like me! If you don't have an air pump, purchase one in addition to this item.Honestly, this is a great addition to our aquarium. It's a good value, especially considering the quality. We're really happy with it!

I installed the Hygger Aquarium Bubble Strip in my tank and was impressed by the striking bubble curtain effect it creates. However, it requires ABSURDLY high air output to work properly, so you'll need to invest in a quality air pump—at least a $50 model. Once paired with the right pump, the diffuser efficiently increases dissolved oxygen levels

I tested this bubble wall out, and it works really well at making micro bubbles, with an air pump rated at 4 watts. I loved that it's super quiet, and heavy enough to sink. It's made out of a pvc type plastic, that's molded together, along with 2 plastic end caps.I was hoping to use this bubble wall strip in my sump to help oxygenate my biological media. Unfortunately, it was too large for the sump compartment, that I wanted to put it in, so I tried to modify it, but cutting it down from 13.8" to 11". That failed miserably. So take my advice, and don't try to modify it. Once you cut it, I don't think it can be fixed. At least, I haven't been able to figured it out yet.This product deserves an extra star because of the packaging. It comes in a lovely box. The bubble strip, airline tubing, and check valve are perfectly fitted in a styrofoam cutout. I'm sad that I threw the packaging away, but I just don't have the space for it.Overall, this is the best bubble wall strip, I've ever had. I've been keeping fish for about 22 years, and have tried many different types. I just wish they made them like this in other sizes. The 5. 9" would have been too small, and the 13.8" was too large for my application. 11 inches is what I needed.
