Despite buying from other sellers who clam to sell the same product and failed the test I have to say this HL-10" KDF85 replacement filter seems to be the real deal. Although it did not come in its original box and was repackeged for shipping via USPS it did come in on time. I was a little skeptical at first however after properly installing this new unit along with a new sediment filter the water tested out to be good... It removed the chloramine as I needed it and worked as advertised.Thanks a bunch to Oceanic Water!!

I have a stealthro300 and I decided to upgrade my green coconut carbon filter with the KDF which is more suited to well water. The thing I like the most is that it lasts twice as long and is easy to replace. All I had to do was unscrew the housing with the wrench that was supplied with my system, put in the new filter, and hand-tighten the housing back on.
