I bought this hoping I could use it my 5 gallon paint cans but it only will fit certain ones. The spout is a nice size for pouring but a cap would have really made it better so I wouldn't have to remove and wash it every night while using the paint for a few days.

Wish manufacturer had picture how to put in tint plug but instructions on micro label says squeeze ring and it comes apart. Here is a picture how to separate and once you do, works fine with Sherwin-Williams 5 gallon buckets and others with tint ring.I purchased this because it came Prime overnight. 4 stars because it would be a 5 if there was a sealing cap for nozzle.

I bought two of these for my home exterior painting project. One for the main color and one for the trim. They made the job so much easier. I have to admit, it took me a while to realize that the spout turns. They're also well designed as dry paint peels right off. I highly recommend these if you're dealing with 5-gallon buckets.

Really helps keep the pouring of 5-gallon containers under control. I also drill a 3/8 inch hole opposite of the spout for air to be drawn in while paint is dispensing out the spout. Once I'm done pouring I put a piece of tape over the whole to keep contaminates out. Have used this process with 3 5-gallon buckets so far without spilling one drop!
