I just installed this fan yesterday, so I can't speak to how reliable it is or anything like that, but I can say that, as ceiling fans go, it was a nice, simple installation. I've installed a half dozen or so ceiling fans and this was one of the easier ones I can remember doing. It is nice and quiet when it runs--almost the only sound you can hear is the whoosh of the air hitting the blades when it is on high. It isn't 100% PERFECTLY balanced, but it is maybe 99% of the way there. It is close enough that it doesn't wobble enough to notice unless you are specifically looking for it (and looking very closely) and so I'm not going to bother fiddling with it at all. The lights are so much better than the fixture this is replacing. Very happy with this purchase!Country of origin: Made in China

Love this fan. Its SILENT and very easy to install. The instructions are not great but even with limited instructions we were able to remove the existing (broken) fan and install this one in the same bracket. The blades are reversable which we did know when purchasing making for a very sleek dark look. We chose to use the almost black side of the blade as opposed to the tan/gray faux wood side.

This fan was fairly easy to install and I'm a 64 year old female. It's very nice, puts out a lot of air and usually quite. Sometimes there's a slight clicking noise but it usually stops. This fan runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I would recommend this fan to anyone.

I've installed a number of fans over the decades and they keep getting easier to do. This one was a breeze to install. The wiring is flexible, too. In my case, I already had the wiring to a light dimmer switch and a fan speed control on the wall, and it all works perfectly, controlling both fan speed & light brightness. But if you only have one switch-or no switch, it can handle that too and you'll just use the pull chains. We didn't use the blubs that come in the box, choosing some 60W equivalent (6W) 3000K Edison bulbs that look great and also are very bright at full blast. Sometimes my wife wants a lot of light on those dark winter days and this amps it up like a bright operating room. And these bulbs look perfect in there as seen in the pic. The blades are reversible and we chose to see the white side and not the wood grain.We've had it a month now and it's very quiet, moves air nicely and is vastly superior to the 20-year-old builder-grade fan that it replaced. We're very happy with this and we wonder, why didn't we replace it sooner?

Bought these late 2020. Stopped working mid 2022.Do yourself a favor and buy proper ones from physical stores. This is the third light fixture we have bought on Amazon

- These ceiling fan blades are snap-on only, so no screws to tighten them, so after 1 week after the installation, 2 units out of 4 have sagged blades (i.e. the blades could fly off the unit at any time and potentially hit someone)!!!- My chat w a rep from HunterFan.com confirmed that this is a manufactured defect and they will send 10 new blades within 6-8 weeks!!!- 6-8 weeks during the summer, the hottest season in Canada, when temperatures could go as high as 100 F or 38 Celsius!!!- This is unacceptable as a waiting period to get blades' replacement.So if you don't want this kind of stupid problem, please don't buy any snap-on blades from ceiling fan companies.

We love these fans! From a practical standpoint, we were looking for pull chain (not remote-controlled) fans that were flush mount, and had open shades to easily change light bulbs. Not only did these fans check all the boxes, but they’re whisper quiet, affordable, move a lot of air, and they’re aesthetic, too! We did professional installation by a contracting company and the installer complimented the quality. They’re the perfect size for our 10’x12’ bedrooms, and I would absolutely buy again in a heartbeat.

The fan blades do not click in so we were nervous that they would fly off. Very quiet and love the rustic looking lights.

I purchased this Hunter fan for my living room in brushed nickel. I recently relocated from another state, had larger house with Hunter ceiling fans in every room. My old kitchen Hunter fan was actually bought in 1970, had been transferred to different house and was still operating as when it was new (at that time Hunter fans were manufactured in USA). However I had never had one problem with any of all my older Hunter fans in that house. My new house was built in 1921 (yes, 101 years old). Has various brands of ceiling fans. One of my projects is replacing the old fans with Hunter fans (even though they are made in China these days) & choosing brushed nickel finish. Love this brushed nickel finish in my living room (replaced white finish). Fan is very quiet, works as guaranteed, & best of all the brushed nickel fits in with rest of my house rooms. Would recommend Hunter fans & have loved them since I bought my very first one (1970).
