I am 5’9” I went from tippy toeing the stock KLR to flat footing easily. The only problem is now the bike looks goofy. I’m my opinion a 3” is just to much for the bike. I found a 1.5 on eBay and i believe it gives a good feel without making the bike look dumb.

Fits klr 650 gen 1 perfectly - brought the bike down to a rideable height for shorter rider, and haven't seen any clearance issues crop up yet. Note that you can bottom out easily if you're heavier or riding hard. Be sure to adjust front accordingly and ride safe!

after installing product stock kick stand on klr inch and a half to long unstable almost wants to fall over. httmt makes ajustable kick stands for motorcycles but not for klr bought httmt ak-011 because the nut that holds the bolt is the same part nunber for the bikes listed it fit but the kick st and was inch and a half to short adjusted on the last setting. drilled hole one inch down from hole housing screw to make it adjust longer.lowerd front forks one inch.
