So it is heavy, the coating is good, fairly straightforward on how it is put together and installed. My complaints are that the panels are really not that wide and the design of the mounting areas make it where you have to drill holes in the product to mount most things. The way this sits on the Back of a gladiator it is not level with the cab and you will need another rack to put a roof top tent,

Fitment information in the listing for this rack for the 2023 Chevy Colorado is not entirely accurate. It may fit non-ZR2 trucks directly (I don’t know if this is true), but the two from of J clamps (left and right side) have to be adjusted to fit the ZR2 (based on my install). The bed walls on the ZR2 protrude on both ends, such that there is zero cavity on which to mount the J clamp. So I was able to mount the rack by pushing the rear J clamp as far back as possible, and offsetting the front clamp so it’s only attached to one mounting hole (see pictures). It’s pretty secure, but not how it was designed (for sure). RTT easily mounted directly on top.The rack is nice quality, had all the parts and was packaged well, terrible assembly instructions (as noted elsewhere).Hope this helps if you are a ZR2 owner.

I spent months researching different types of bed racks and I finally decided to pull the trigger on this budget friendly rack from Hooke Off-road and I was really impressed, the rack is solid and made out of thick metal, the powder coating was perfect with no scratches on it. The packaging was really good and everything was individually wrapped, all the hardware was included and it took me and my son about 2 hours to install. It’s really an awesome bed rack at a decent price. I would highly recommend this rack!!

A couple of pieces came bent but were easily straightened with a rubber mallet. Instructions were vague but with the Amazon images you could fill in the blanks. Overall it’s a sturdy rack, exceeded my expectations for the price point. Just be careful with hardware as they do not provide any extras. You literally use up everything they send you. So do not lose any of them.It was a heavy box so I imagine it was dropped a few times before it got to me but like I said it was nothing a little tap couldn’t fix.The height is just under the cab height which may cause an issue if you’re gonna put a RTT on it so just be mindful of that. It’s exactly what I wanted/needed at the moment and the price was just right. The money I saved on the rack will be used for accessories.

Fit perfectly. Was so easy to install myself. Very sturdy. I can transport my goats easily with this rack. I just put a stretchy net over top and tie a tarp over that for instant trailer. Looks great too for a great price!

I stalled on m Gladiator. Super easy to install but does take a few hours. Box is super heavy but once you put it together does feel quite as heavy. Love it!!

Hooke Road if you want to sponsor me, contact me. I am about to hit the trails again under new YouTube channel called Stretching Out. This rack is just sexy, sturdy, and strong. Received within a few days of order. The packaging is perfect. They even taped the straps down so it wouldn’t hang up and break. Everything went together very well. I do not have the bed rails so I ordered the rack without bed rail option. The bed liner on the gladiator bed underneath the lip has tabs that get in the way. Put first rack rail at 6.5” coming from cab, second at 22-1/2” and 3rd at 38-1/2” and your set. Get you a couple of 6mm hex bit sockets with a ratchet for the install. I got my bulletpoint mounts for GoPro and phone, got the uniden cb with Stryker SR-A10mm antennae. Let’s get outdoors!Only issue was in shipment there was powder coat knocked off and a bent top rail. I touched it up with rhino liner, same texture, then straightened up the rail with adjustable wrench. Problems solved.

It's a fine product, functioning in the way I imagined it when I ordered it. There are several ways to get this to work with a Honda Ridgeline which require extra parts. The problem is that with most pickup trucks there is a short distance between the top of the bed side and the underside of the top and the bed rail is located at the top. The extra inch and a half or so between the top and the lower bed rail means that whether the is to be secured by six included clamps (which I got) or by fastening the rack feet to bedrails, the clamps or bed rails are too low to attach. Something is needed to connect the rack feet to the clamps. Steel straps can be made to work. Z bar can be bought in exactly the right size to make the connection. Because I don't yet have bed rails I'm installing 2060 T-slot which has three T-slots on its 60mm surface. The top T-slot in the maximum width that will fit into the bed rail channel is high enough to connect the rack feet to the bed rail. I'm replacing the 22mm thick clamp with 20mm thick T-slot. If you bought the rack for use with bed rails perhaps 3060 T-slot might work. I haven't looked at it since I don't have that type. Photos will illustrate the mismatch between the rack feet and the clamps. In the closeup the clamp is pushed over so that the bolt hole used for bed rails can be seen. Until the 2060 arrives I have the rack tied down to cleats to keep it from moving up. It can't move forward, backwards, down or sideways.
