Conforms to Acme thread standards
Avibo is a small company of friends, who also happen to be engineers and love designing great tools. Our team is dedicated to engineering quality, and the first version of the Avibo Hook released in 2023 strictly adhered to 3/4" Acme thread standards. However, after our initial first product release, we discovered in horror that many popular brands of extension poles, painter's poles, broomsticks, and various "poles" imported from around the world do not share the same commitment to Acme standards.
As both hobbyists and now professionals in this space, we worked tirelessly to find every popular pole sold and utilized throughout the US, and we designed custom Avibo threads to fit as many of them as possible. While it's impossible to have a "one-size-fits-all" in any product, we believe that our Avibo Hook will fit the largest number of common extension poles in usage today.

It came quickly and arrived as pictured! The hook itself is well-made and durable. Since getting I’ve used to to hang lights and decorations on my walls and high ceilings. It helps me not get out my ladder which can be really cumbersome. Might get another one for my parents!

Bought this hook to hang bird houses on tall tree limbs. I tried it on 2 nice standard extension poles and it was too small. I now have read on the reviews that other people have had the same problem. Other than this, the hook is awesome. It would have worked perfectly. Unfortunately, too late for me to return. If you purchase this, check it with your pole right away!

I purchased this hook as a companion to an extension pole that I used to retrieve bird houses for winter cleaning...and, of course, to put them back in early spring. The shape of the hook has also been used for holding down branches for trimming. I've used it to pull out climbing weeds that don't belong including Poison Ivy. It's a very versatile shape.
