I purchased the material to go under my new walking pad since I have carpet. This has worked perfectly. Other reviews complained about a smell. Mine had no smell and has a good thickness to it.

At first, I was worried because upon unpacking, there was a distinct chemical smell. But I liked its sturdy construction enough to see if the odor would dissipate. I unrolled it and left it in the garage for two days., which definitely helped. Then I wiped it down with a solution of 50%/50% vinegar & water. Iām so glad it worked out.
