Disappointed purchased two for my homes recliners both are thin and do not elevate your feet as you would need. Also the straps are not rigid enough to keep the cushion from sliding so that when you lower your recliner foot rest the strapped on elevation cushion has slid down and will make it difficult to get out of the chair because it has moved and has traveled away from the foot rest of the of the recliner. I just want to make sure that future purchasers of this item are very aware of what they're purchasing so that they can make alternate decisions based upon this comment. I now have two foot elevation cushions that are ineffective for anyone who would desire to elevate their feet higher while in their recliner this does not do the job and the straps won't hold it in position and it will slide making it difficult for you to get out of the chair without having to yank on this foot rest to reposition it so that you can get up from the chair. This can be a safety issue that I want you to be aware of that I found out for myself.

Purchased this product for my dad. He has some swelling around his ankles due to fluid and he needed to elevate his feet on the recliner. Works just as described. Doesn't always stay strapped onto the end of the recliner but it works well for elevation.

I like the way it's slanted on the back so the calves of your legs have a resting place. It's perfect.

After procrastinating several months on whether to purchase this or not, I finally did it. And I wish I had bought it months ago. It is perfect for my lift chair and helping me with my numb legs/feet overnight. The cushion and fabric are marvelous to rest legs on, the firmness seems to keep the product from sagging in the middle as I had feared, and the height is just right. So far, it seems to stay attached very well to my leg rest, even after going up and down a lot when using the lift. No problem there, as some reviews mentioned. Excellent purchase!

I sleep in a recliner. I haven't slept in a bed in almost 8 years due to past injuries and nerve damage. I had been using a couple of soft pillows under my legs but always had leg pain anyway. I decided to try this. When it arrived it took a few hours after unpacking to assume it's shape because it had been vacuum packed and rolled tightly. I slept with it mounted on my recliner as shown on the pictures on the site. My legs hurt worse than ever. Lo and behold I found that I slept best with no pain at all with no additional leg support other than what a standard recliner provides. This is due to the nerve damage I have. I did find an excellent use for the item though. I place it behind my back in the recliner with the thick portion against my lower back and the thinner angled portion at my mid back and it gives extra comfort for sleeping. Unconventional use but it works well for my situation.

I bought this for my husband to elevate his leg after a knee replacement. It was comfortable under his leg while in his recliner, and helped to reduce swelling.

Such mixed emotions! I love that it supports my leg and really feels good on my recliner. REALLY GOOD!BUT...The straps come loose and allows one of two things to happen.1. The cushion works up the chair and the straps get caught between the seat and leg riser. When this happens it can catch in the mechanism and when I need to get up, let's say to frantically go to the bathroom, it won't budge. Then I have to practice the kayak rollover procedure where I turn my kayak over, roll, go upside down, roll again go over the side of the chair, hit the floor with a thud, almost pee myself and then hobble to the bathroom cursing the cushion.2. The cushion works itself down and the straps get caught in the mechanism under the leg riser and when I go to get up, usually to go to the bathroom the leg riser will not disappear into the chair but instead stays out in front of the chair like an extra comfy ski jump. Thus I have to fling myself headfirst, I mean my feet are in the air. So I fling, hit, thud, get up, so I look around to see if anyone was watching and then limp to the bathroom. In both cases I come back, wrestle everything back into place and enjoy an unknown amount of sitting pleasure until 1 or 2 jumps me again! But I keep coming back so the love obviously is stronger than the hate! I'm waiting for a version with better straps, unit then THREE STARS!
