These have a million uses on my farm and in my machine shop. When they first arrived, before I even opened the box I was impressed with the overall weight. These are hefty! The pins are all solidly built, and I was particularly pleased with the robust cotter pins. I've had a few of those that were flimsy, but these did not disappoint. I put them to work dragging logs the first day they came, and have since used them to pull a utility truck out of the mud. They've been more than equal to everything I've asked of them so far! They're similar in design to the old-faithful ones that I've had for a couple of decades, and should last just as long!

This 4 Pack of 3/8” Clovis Slip Hooks with the safety spring loaded latch built-in are excellent quality and surface marked appropriately. Made of heat treated grade 70 forged steel with a surface coat of zinc ensures reliable strength and corrosion resistance.All four come with chain keeper pins with the cotter pins installed. They are advertised to have included 2 extra cotter pins each presumably but, they must have slipped out during shipping as only 1 pin extra made it…the box was beat-up like a 2 dollar Lassie at the wharf…uggh!Excellent hooks rated at 7100 pounds work load with a maximum breaking load of 18000 pounds, awesome!
