Your cart is empty. How can I clean my mobile?
Mobiles made of cardboard should only be dusted with a soft brush. Mobiles made of wood, aluminium or plastic can be wiped with a moist cloth with a few drops of mild dishwashing detergent.
How long can my Mobile last?
One person called us and said that they had inherited a Science Fiction Mobile from her grandmother who had had it for 30 years! In our home we have had the same mobile hanging for more than 20 years.
Can my mobile hang outdoors?
No. Since they are very sensitive to the simplest whiff of air hanging them outside is not recommendable.
Will my mobile fade?
In many of our mobiles we use plastic foil. This material is lightproof and easy to clean. Some other mobiles are made of cardboard. Even though we use the highest quality cardboard it will fade over the years. Red colors fade more than blue. You can delay fading by hanging the mobile out of direct sunlight.
When hanging your mobile, try it in different places and bear in mind the following suggestions:
1. The mobile is designed to be a pleasure to the eye and a stimulus to the imagination. Hang out of reach of children. It is not a toy.
2. Hang it away from direct sunlight to avoid the colors fading and the shapes distorting.
3. Hang it where there is some movement of air but no strong draft. A slow, quiet movement is the essence of the mobile. Do not hang it outdoors.
4. Where practical, hang the mobile where it has a subdued, uniform background. A corner position against light-colored walls is often the best location.
5. If possible, hang it in the light from a lamp. The shadow that the mobile casts onto a wall or ceiling will give the mobile yet another dimension. A candle is a concentrated light source which will produce distinct, well-defined shadows.
6. Hang the mobile where you can watch it while listening to music. You will see the mobile move to the rhythm of the music.

This is the third Flensted hedgehog mobile we've bought as gifts for friends with babies. Our son was given one and the sweet simplicity of the design, to me, makes it a perfect and gorgeous gift! Ours was delivered promptly and in perfect condition.

My baby loves laying and talking to her hedgehogs. I own the Shoal of Fish flensted and she seems to love this one more. I put this mobile close to a heating/AC vent and the hedgehogs dance around whenever the heating/AC unit comes on. She can lay and look at it for hours. When she first started babbling, it was at this mobile. This is definitely a must have!

Ich habe dieses Igelmobile meiner Nichte zum Geburtstag geschenkt. Die Flenstedt-Mobiles sind hochwertig und originell, aber auch nicht ganz billig. Aber wer Mobiles mag. wird an der reichhaltigen Auswahl seine Freude haben. Auf jeden Fall scheine ich genau den Geschmack meiner 13-jährigen Nicht getroffen zu haben, denn sie hat es sofort aufgehängt und hat sich auch sehr darüber gefreut. 4 gute Sterne . Mobiles sind zu empfehlen. ich hatte mir ein Flenstedt-Mobile zu Weihnachten gekauft und fand es auch sehr schön.

Daughter, away in college in far reaches of CA from the Midwest, had to leave beloved pet hedgehogs, behind, and in the care of her mother (that being, me) and misses them more than she misses her mother (still me) She loves this mobile! She put it up in her dorm room, in the instant. :) Room-mates love it, too. :)

Super cute. I love the simple, modern design, as I'm not a fan of cloth mobiles with dangling stuffed animals. However, for hanging purposes, I wish it came with invisible fishing line instead of black thread. I really like Flensted mobiles and plan to get another one for the playroom.

It is cute, but I think it is overpriced. It is made of paper and so it is not going to last for too long.

Pretty, lovely design..our 6 week-old daughter has just started to notice it and seems keen as the colours and the way they move naturally are excellent even for a tiny one..Love the product and delivery was fast as well. It is without sounds but that was the reason why we chose it - you never know if one has an annoying Christmas song or else..this one looks probably more old-fashioned but will surely improve creativity much more..no surprise it is from Denmark..
