I watched a video on how to change this element. It was fairly simple to change. Doing it myself saved a lot of time and money. It has been about 8 months of non-stop use since I bought it and is still working at keeping the refrigerator cold, like it should. It would buy again if/ when needed.

This was a perfect fit for my Dometic RV gas/electric refrigerator. It was easy to install and works great. The price was also very good and prime delivery amazing as usual.

Bought a used 2011 Coachmen Chaparral 267RLS back in January 2024. Fridge stopped working 7 months into me owning the camper. After doing some testing with a multimeter to figure out why the fridge wasn’t working, I ended up landing on the fridge heating element being faulty. I purchased this replacement heating element and my fridge is up and running again. I have a dometic DM2652 absorption fridge and this part fit with my fridge model

This install is NOT for the novice. please dont think you can change this with the $6 tool. that tool is only for install. i needed an air hammer with a chisel bit to get the old one out. then i dislodged enough crap from inside the tank, i plugged my kitchen faucet.the actual product was great, but not an easy install.

I am sure it will work but I have been unable to remove the old one because it is rusted in place and I don't want to damage the area it slides into.
