Just recieved a air fryer for Christmas. Needed a mat to put under it because he threw off a lot of heat on the counter top. Well made, not a stiff hard matt, more of a place mat kind of mat. Try it this evening and it worked great.

This fits perfectly under my Emeril French Door Air Fryer. I took measurements so as not to have over-hang. Keeps my counters from heat damage.I like the fact that it's a thin material.It has a non-slip side for better gripping.Many colors to choose from.I chose black.

Great mat, flexible, no chemical smell, we use it under our pizza oven and air fryer. Easy to fold up when not in use. BUT - I tried this also as a counter protector while canning and the woven edge melted to the welding pad that was also being used. I have a gas stove but the mat was 3 inches away from the burner. I'll continue to use the welding pad (awesome also on Amazon) but not this grey mat when canning.

I don't know if this mat protects against heat, hard to check without lifting a very hot air fryer.But one thing I know for sure is that it is very slippery on the counter. Just lightly wiping the top of my air fryer makes it slide. Very dangerous!
