I own the Head IG Challenge MP Senior Tennis Racquet which is a great racket for casual players who take things a bit more seriously, however this racket doesn’t have the greatest strings (which was a trade off for the higher quality racket frame) so they’d give off an obvious “ping” sound.I thought I’d give these dampeners a try thinking they’d reduce SOME of the noise, but I didn’t expect them to eliminate ALMOST ALL the noise!??? These little dampeners work like magic!!!! 10/10!!! My racket sounds so premium now 😎!!!

As I grew up with dampeners on my rackets, the new ones that I have felt naked without them. I could definitely tell the difference after slipping these on. Easy to install, makes the racket strings very stable, and they look great. Overall seems like a universal fit, and they do their job well! Would purchase again!

I use these at the top 1st string along with the smartsob at the bottom. It works as expected and takes most of the vibration out. Essential if you want to avoid tennis elbow. They look great and compliment the Head racquet very well but they are a bit overpriced for what they are.
