These are not hard to replace. The old ignition would turn the mower on but not shut it off, I had to lift up off the seat and let that shut the mower off. So after replacing it with this it’s great to have a fully functional ignition switch.

Quick 1 day delivery of a part I needed. About 1/3 less expensive than OEM and it works, although not quite as smooth. For the money its a good replacement on my 1998 loader tractor.

I replaced the switch on my mower as a part of not wanting to fight the old switch any more. Last year I spent way to much time fighting with the old switch every time I wanted to mow my grass. Put the switch on yesterday and did a few other maintenance items on the mower , change and adjust the carburetor, clean and grease the deck, adjust the clutch, check belts, sharpen the blades, and the new switch worked every time I started the mower with no issues from the switch.It’s nice that the switch comes with two keys. I wish that the keys had the bigger black top part but both keys work so you can put up the spare key incase one gets lost. The carabiner that comes with the kit is a joke, it popped open the instant I put it in my shirt pocket and the key rings that I had put on it came off. If the carabiner was a locking one it would be much better than the spring loaded one that is currently used.

Excellent look and feel for the price! The added dust and water protection makes this switch a bit of an upgrade on an old Simplicity Coronet 34.Switch installs with ease and functions as expected, the overall operation of this switch feels of quality. Only time will tell if the switch will hold up in the long run.Seriously, if this switch fits your mower.. buy it.

Impressed so far. Put about 20 hours on it mowing and will be using this winter for snow blower. Appears very well made and unlike most of them the bearing can be removed and replaced. Perfect fit for my application and about half the price of the rest i looked at.
