This is used in a dental office. Very quiet and does a great job. Very cost efficient. Place the word dental in front of it and some dental manufacturer or supplier will charge four times as much .

The purchased unit effectively converts dirty, gritty mechanical hardware into clean, serviceable equipment. It’s easy to operate and functions as advertised. I highly recommend it as a viable choice.

I call this a "bridge" ultrasonic because, like a professional / industrial one, it has a built-in heater, but doesn't have the all-metal body of an industrial unit, keeping a more "consumer-oriented" plastic shell and lid. The heater hits a preset limit and can't be changed (unfortunately), but at least it's there, some heat is certainly better than none at all.As you can see from the photo, it fits my AR-10 bolt carrier group (AR-15 guys should have no problem with their little .22 BCG's) with room to spare. Also fits full size semi-auto slides, but you won't be fitting your complete uppers and lowers in here, sadly. But it IS big enough for a surprising number of big bang parts, so those of us that love to shoot but hate to clean will like this a lot.I like the overall build quality and aesthetic of it, as well, you won't be shy about having this on the counter of the family jewelry store. You can use water for most things, but for greasy/oily stuff I like to use rubbing alcohol, it cleans the greasy stuff a lot better. The manual is pretty worthless, except to inform you that "TC" means "heat". Where they got "TC", I have no idea. I would have labeled it "heat", but what do I know? The vast majority reads like it was translated from language A into language B by someone that speaks language C, but neither A nor B. Mostly unreadable, save for a few passages. It does have some cute artwork, though, of the bubbles beating up the dirt.In short, I found it to be a decent ultrasonic that actually had room for some of my bigger things. If you're looking for an ultrasonic that is a nice "bridge" between an industrial unit and a consumer model, this is a good ultrasonic in that arena.

I use it to clean bicycle chains and items w/ tar like coatings. The basket that comes with it works great. Ultrasonic baths are very handy to have available for use.

Absolutely perfect for my pedicuring tools including foot file! The heat feature is great for cleaning up implements, and e-file bits that may have rusted if forgotten in disinfectant. I use this with all my tools, Lucas-cide and then dry and use my dry heat sterilizer .
