if you have anything close to a overheating problem and can get over the loud noiseof a fan clutch this things perfectI have a lifted 05 lly duramax with a lot of extra weight the factory cooling wasn’t enough this will no doubt make you sound like a dump truck or semi screaming the clutch all the time but I haven’t seen a 200 degree mark since the install

Installed into and 04 lb7 sierra. Engagement on original clutch was 212f now engages at 200f. I can hear the fan more often but coolant temp is more controlled.

The clutch stays engaged about 70 percent of the time. Truck sounds like a jet. It runs upon start up even if the temp is well below zero. It seems to turn off only randomly. Had it over a year no improvement.

I purchased this fan clutch on May 9 2019. It is now July 20 2019 and the clutch is slipping causing little to no air flow. It caused damage to my ac compressor due to high pressure. Not of good quality, nearly impossible to contact Hayden to get a warranty or refund.P.S. certified auto technician with over 20 years.

This clutch worked excellent on our 2002 Duramax LB7. It consistently comes on fully by 205 degrees and holds the temp there. We pull hard and long, and never go above 210 now. The OEM clutch would never kick in fully until somewhere between 215 and 230 and it could never keep it cool after that. Amazing difference. I highly recommend this clutch if you tow or simply want consistent fan clutch operation.
