About two weeks ago I replaced my radiator in my 93 che y caprice shortly after replacement I notice when I accelerate my car sounds like a airplane engine and I had less power car was not running hot though or anything. So after doing some research found out that the fan clutch is a common problem with that issue. So I purchased this clutch and installed ot and I drove the car for about 30 mins and its running great and I do hear the clutch kick on but only briefly and that's probably because it's over 110 degrees in az right now but definitely easy install for me and it's working great.

Fits fine on my 1991 Chevy Astro 4.3L Vortec engine. It took away the vibration I was getting from the old fan clutch.

Installed a 1990 TPI Camaro serpentine accessory system in a 69 Camaro with a small block chevy 400. The serpetine system requires a reverse rotation water pump, cooling fan and fan clutch. The Derale 17918 reverse rotation fan fit this reverse rotation fan clutch (and stock fan shroud) correctly. With a 180 degree thermostat and this fan and clutch set up, the car idles at 184 degrees.

Nothing Fancy or High Tech but it does the job very well! Very well made unit by a company with a good reputation. It fit my 5.0 V-8 Chevy Pick Up with simple hand tools. Pulls more air, and keeps things cool when towing in Hot Summer Weather. A Great Cooling Update to your vehicle!
