This toothpick holder is an appropriate size for tastefully displaying easily accessible toothpicks, even if there are just a few inside, as it’s not so roomy that any will fall over to rest on the bottom. Since the top is open, I’m choosing to keep it inside a cabinet to prevent any dirtiness making its way inside to contaminate my toothpicks. I like for my cabinets to look classy inside, so this fits the bill. It’s perfectly flat on the bottom and nicely balanced, so it’s not easy to knock over. It’s sanded down to feel quite smooth, but I did find it necessary to give it a wipe-down and oil treatment to remove the bits of wood shavings debris I could see and feel on its surface. While the wood stain looks plenty lovely on the outside, it looks much more haphazard and quite incomplete on the inside. Also, the top rim is not so significantly darker than the walls, unlike what is shown in the product images, though certain lighting can make it appear similar.

There isn't much to this little box but there doesn't have to be. It is a simple design and works great. It holds a bunch of toothpicks so they're handy and easy to use. The flared bottom makes it sturdy and it won't tip over easily.

I have a nice collection of cocktail picks but had nowhere to keep/place them. I am not a cocktail person but I use the picks to hold my veggie sandwiches together. This holder is very cute and well made. The cocktail picks fit to perfection and look great. Love it.

Got this to practice wood burning and to hold my pens since I don't have toothpicks and it honestly looks really nice and as if it would fit into most restaurants

Not impressed overall. The cavity is too tall in my opinion. Forefront my enttirrre adult life I have simply grabbed toothpicks out of rhed box they come from at my own house, but everyone's house I've been to dinner at, if they have a tooth pick holder, the tooth picks stick out beyond the container, which makes it easier to grab one. I was surprised to see how deep this container was. I tried searching searching information on toothpick sizes. While there are supposedly longer length toothpicks according to various sources, all I could find was that the longer lengths are also thicker for other uses such as Hors d'oeuvres, or as skewers. Neither of which are ideal for actually picking food out of your teeth. Searching Amazon products I looked a5 roughly 75 products, and did not see a single one more than 2.5" that specifically claimed to be in the thinner diameter ranging around 1.5 - 2 mm. Some didn't specify what the diameter was.As for construction of the container, it looks well made, and sturdy. I may just cut a block of wood to drop down in the bottom of it so the toothpicks stick out of the container, but as is, I have no interest in using it.

This is just as described and shown, an attractive, tiny, wooden box. It is nicely constructed and finished, very lightweight. A good size for toothpicks, the tops of my wooden picks sit just below the top edge of box. Also good the tiny cocktail sticks ..the heads being just tall enough to peak over the box frame. For $10, you can't go wrong.However, when I received it, it occurred to me that it would have been a 5 star item, if it had a lid to keep toothpicks dust free when not using.
