Features
Star design adjusts and tightens easily for maximum control and flexibility without the need for additional tools. Clamping knobs feature tightly-in metal insert (won't strip) for a variety of threaded applications, making it easy to install and secure in place.
Star knobs are made from plastic material ensuring durability and long-lasting performance. Metal screw-in female thread provides strength and corrosion resistance for long service life.
Non-through hole female star handles are designed for direct mounting to components with corresponding male threaded fasteners. Through hole female star handles allow for easy installation and removal, versatile mounting options.
Notes
If you need the flexibility of easy installation and removal, choose a through-hole design. If direct mounting is preferred or space constraints exist, choose the non-through-hole design.
Ensure that the knob is securely and properly installed on the corresponding male threaded component or fastener. Choose the star knob size that suits your needs. Do not over-tighten as this may cause damage of the knob or threaded parts.

These are pretty simple. They are not a cap the Bolt can go all the way through. That's nice for a lot of applications. The reason I'm leaving a review is these were perfect replacements for the little door on top of the propane enclosure for our rv. There are 5 mm which was pretty hard to find. Everything else is six.

I used these to replace the plastic nuts which hold the carpet covers for the tail lights on the 987.1 Boxster. While I could have used a regular nut, I prefer to keep it easy to access the tail lights without having to grab a wrench.
