The cover works great and is exactly as described. The only issue I have is that the cord that you sinch tight broke really quickly so I have to wrap it up and make do.

The diffuser works fine. I noticed the quality of light change with it. I have a small space in my apartment so, the umbrella takes up a lot of space while in use. I somehow didn't notice it as much with the diffuser on our by that time, I had gotten use to it.
