ICのパッケージに書いてある型番を読み取るのに使っています。PCで使っているのでとりあえず問題はないのですが、私のAndroidでは動作しませんでした。また、フォーカスを調整すると画像が回転するので、その都度スタンドの締め付けネジを緩め、締め直す必要があります。スリムデザインがとても良く、実用的には問題ありません。

スティック状のカメラの根本を回転して焦点を合わせることで、きれいな映像を見ることができる。倍率は対象物とカメラ間の距離で決まる。約45cm離したところで11インチiPad画面上では等倍になり、近づけるほど倍率は上がる。最短距離7mmまで焦点が合い、その距離での倍率は150倍になった。数百m先の物体にも通常のカメラのように焦点は合い、その時の画面上の像の大きさは肉眼で実際に見える物体と同程度の大きさだった。カメラを動かしたときの映像の時間遅れや、ソフトで電子的に倍率を上げた場合とかうす暗い場面での顕著なノイズは残念であるが、価格相応と思われる。カメラには台が同梱されている。しかしその台は軽すぎるためか、カメラのケーブルに引きずられてコケやすい。そこで直径70mm、厚さ10mmの丸いアルミ板を購入し、両面接着テープで固定した。実に使い勝手のよい顕微鏡、兼カメラになった。

子供の自由研究で購入。防水なので子供はメダカの観察などに使っていて満足してました。私は研究ではないですが人の耳の中ってこんなに汚いのかって思うくらいすごかったですwとにかく満足です。

気に入ったところ：よく見える。使い方も簡単。何より安いので、私のような素人には手が出しやすい。プリント基板の断線チェック等で大活躍してます。気に入らないところ：商品の写真ではLEDライトの明るさ調整のダイヤルがケーブルのカメラ近くについていますが、私の所に届いた商品はUSB端子側についています。私はPCにさして使用しているのですが、LEDの明るさ調整の為に手を伸ばして作業するのが大変ストレスです。返品するか悩みましたが、どうしても我慢できないなら配線を切断して正しい方向で付け直せば良いだけなので、そのまま使用しています。結果：自分で使用するのは良いが、他人にはプレゼントしたくない商品です。

This is an interesting microscope that can serve as a webcam.I only tested this on Windows and can confirm this works, but cannot comment about other devices.The microscope is pretty decent in being able to zoom out and see things. At higher magnification, it becomes hard to focus and keep a stable position, even with the included stand. This works best around 10x-30x range and the ability to transmit and capture images is great.The microscope is not too large so it could be a good science tool for bigger kids as well.

Picked this up to see if it would work as a cheap alternative to those expensive soldering microscopes. It worked well enough for a couple of joints, I find I am better able to stabilize my hand when magnifying the area I am working on, and this helped with that. It's certainly not perfect, but for what I need, and how infrequently I will need it, this was a perfectly fine compromise.

I like this product so much that I over-looked the strange instructions. The QR code has a link to a file that my McAfee Virus for Windows 11 shows a threat and quarantined it. I almost gave up but then I tried the link that is printed in blue which downloaded and installed without any security warnings. Once the Amcap application was installed, I plugged in the microscope pen and it just started working. There is an LED light built in that illuminates the area you are looking at with an inline control to control the brightness. There is also a focus control right on the pen for easy use. There are many uses of this microscope and it is an exceptional value.

Item is as described, but does not function as described. The software does not work for this item, so I don't know what the camera looks like. The light does work but it's a small light that is designed to help the camera.

This tiny pen-like microscope can get surprisingly good images. For example, I learned that on the $100 bill, the time on the clock at the top of Independence Hall is 10:30. And, I haven't seen Ben Franklin's eye that close before, either. The device is very simple to use, just a knob on the back to focus. But, getting the device software set up can be a challenge. The device can run on Android, Apple, Windows, and Mac. The device runs on USB-C, and included in the kit are adapters for USB-A and Lightning. On Android, the app is very new and the dev's other apps aren't well reviewed. There are other applications that will work, such as those for "endoscopes". For Windows, the device manual says to download the program from a site in Somalia. This does not inspire trust. I ended up downloading the program directly from the author. After some time fiddling with drivers, everything fell into place. In use, the depth of field is very shallow, so anything that's not perfectly flat is going to have parts that are not in focus. But, give the price and simplicity of the device, the pics look good.

This is one of those tools/toys that you use for practical reasons far less often than you think you will, but it's fun to play with. The image quality of the microscope is pretty good for what it is, getting it to balance and focus is a little tricky. I've included photos I took with this microscope, can you guess what they are? Answers at the end.One thing I would change about it is somehow adding weight to the base so it's more stable and doesn't try to tip over. The other thing I'm not a fan of is the lights. They're adjustable, but can make some objects hard to see because they're too close to what you're looking at and they surround the lens so you get some issues with that, and if you're looking at anything remotely reflective or shiny it will just be washed out. I definitely recommend using an external light source if possible.Looking at your own eardrum is a trip, but there is an attachment for looking into ears that comes with the microscope. I guess that's useful. Also included are adapters for USB-C to USB, USB-C to Lightning, two "snoot" tips and a tip with an angled mirror. An app is required to use with a phone, there is a QR code linking to the app included in the manual. For PC, I didn't have to do anything besides plug it in and use the Windows camera app and set the device as my camera. It's definitely fun to play with and will surely have some unexpected practical uses in the future.The pictures are of: 1 knife edge, 2 drawing tablet pen nib, 3 mint mark on a quarter, 4 tip of a ball-point pen.

Had to go round and round in circles to get this to work. The software gets flagged by antivirus saying there is an issue. Took something like 8 or 9 tries before it finally worked out for me. The scope is ok for what it is. The LED light is pretty bright and helps with seeing finer detail on things up close
