This frame can be used for needle punch, as well as other projects. I found it to be very easy to put together and use, and it held my fairly sizable stocking project without any slip edge or breaking. This is a must have for needle crafters.

Absolutely garbage product. Pieces are too loose or too tight. They do not line up and you need to force the connectors to match up causing torque on the whole frame. Several parts wouldn’t go together and several wouldn’t come apart. Could even get it built to try using for its purpose. Very cheaply made.

I use these for hand quilting.They’re great because you can change up the size which is super handy. Because they’re large you don’t have to move them around a ton and that saved me so much time. They also hold the fabric suuuuuper tight.

This held a large cross stitch project well, better than a hoop. It takes some doing to get it together, and some force to get it apart. I like that the size is adjustable.

I bought two types of these embroidery frames: this one, and a wooden one. I really wanted to like the wooden one so I hate to admit it, but I prefer this plastic one. It snaps together in seconds, very sturdy, and once your work is secured in the frame it makes needlework much easier. It holds the fabric tight on all 4 sides and the frame is smooth and lightweight. It's easy to hold, and there's nothing for the threads to catch on. It's much easier on my hand than working with a hoop, not only because of the larger grip area, but because I can also hold it from the top against my lap. (Holding it up like that also allows light to come through the fabric.)My one big complaint is that it's a little tricky getting the fabric onto the frame. Larger pieces are probably easier, but the piece I'm working with now is just large enough to fit. If I get too much fabric clamped down on one side, there isn't enough on the other. If I could pop the grips off easily, it wouldn't be such a big deal. But the only way I've been able to get them off the frame is to slide them off the end. Sometimes that means taking the frame apart, and even so I can hear the grip pulling on the fabric. That makes me nervous, and it would be worse if I actually had stitching there. (On the wooden frame, I can pop the grips off, but they don't hold the fabric as well.) It's taken me several tries to get the fabric secured adequately, but once it's there, it stays.

I was afraid a pvc pipe frame would be too bendy while I was using it. But it is very firm and the shape is easy to hold while I do cross stitch. I did find the clips really tight, it was painful to stick my thumb into the side I got open and then used the handle of a wooden spoon to easily prey off the rest of the clip. It would be better to do this someone else and have them insert the handle instead of letting your own fingers get pinched. Now that the canvas is in the frame, I can see that the tight clips mean I can just barely clip in the tip of the end of the canvas and easily tighten by rotating the clipped side. It is way better than my embroidery hoops but the hoops will be easier to handle when the projects are small. It might be worth the time to sew small canvas into fabric to make it possible to use this frame for small projects.

I bought this to use for needle punching. I thought it’s easy to store when I am not using it and because I can adjust the frame size according to my project. The price point is good. I used this for a pillow cover I was make. There is a learning curve to get it taunt. I did have to tighten quite a few times by turned the pvc clamps. This is the first time I needle punched and I was a little frustrated. I really enjoyed the art of needle punching but I felt I was battling to keep it taunt. I will keep this frame because it has it purpose if I travel. I did splurge and order a 18”x18” needle punch frame from Etsy and Wow what a game changer!!!! My cloth doesn’t budge at all and stays taunt the whole time. Here is the Pros and Cons of both PVC and the NEEDLE punch frame.The Pros of this PVC punch frame-I think this frame is good for those who dont want to invest a lot of money,and those who are limited space to store it when not in use.I think it’s great for travel as well.Good for those who just what to give needle punch a try.Cons-But I will say you maybe frustrated and discouraged with continually adjusting the tauntness of your fabric.Not for good for serious textile artistPunch Needle Frames-Pro’s-You fabric doesn’t not budge once you have it in place. Keeps the cloth taunt so you can finish your project quickly.Wood frame is very sturdy.So much more enjoyable to needle punch and relaxing when you are battling to keep your cloth tight.ConsThe needle punch frames does not break down for easy storage.The needles that hold your cloth in place irritate your arms.Tip: Once you get your monks cloth in place , You need to place a piece of flannel over the exposed needles to protect your arms.Not convenient for travel.Size is fixed and can not be adjusted so you may need several sizes for different projects.The cost is $$$ compared to the PVC punch frame.I hope this helps someone who is new to needle punching

同じ長さの長いポールが4本、それぞれ長さの違うポールが２本ずつの計8本のポールが入っていました組み合わせ次第で色々な大きさにすることができますそれぞれ布を挟むクリップがついていますとてもシンプルですがクリップもしっかり布をホールドして緩んできたときは少し外側に回してずらせばまたピーンと張ります欲を言えばクリップの長さがもう少しあるともっと使いやすかったと思います使い勝手は☆5ですがその部分で今後の改良の期待を込めて☆1マイナスとさせて頂きました配送もとても早かったです

I was looking for a hoop or small frame that I could use for quilting baby quilts. I can no longer sit at a quilting frame for an extended time so I wanted something I could use while in my recliner. This frame has been perfect. I use the 11 and 8 inch pieces to make a rectangle that gives me a decent work surface. I love that the pieces that snap to hold everything my work on the frame are slightly grooved on the inside to hold the work tight. It doesn't slip at all.I would highly recommend this for any type hand work that needs to be held tight.
