Great quality tool but packaging is a bit confusing... note that there are two collets included but the bigger one is hidden in the bottom of the tool so you have to unscrew the bottom to get it out. The Gyros packaging only lists the vise as supporting up to 3/32" (2.381mm) and I almost returned it as I thought I received the wrong pin vise size. But I can confirm the second collet hidden within the tool supports up to 1/8" (3.175mm).

I will use this mainly for rc plane building purposes. I was pleasantly surprised with these attributes:1. feels solid, quality parts2. has a large smooth turning end knob3. Has 2 double sided collets inside tool, ie 4 sizes

I had to drill an orifice for my new 11,000 BTU heater, to use it at 5,800'. The #65 bit was the right size and the pin vice held it nicely and allowed for easy drilling. I was apprehensive, but it worked easily and well.

I use this to remove all sorts of canon opinions during watchmaking… I have included the smallest watch that I have worked on and use this for… I don’t think there’s anything smaller than anybody could find so if you’re working on watches and need a reliable tool to remove Ken pins then this will do it no matter what the size

Overall, it's pretty nice however one of chucks is cut off center so it would not be able to keep bit centered and probably break the small bits. The others look ok. You get what you pay for however it seems to be a common problem from the other comments I have read but for my use it will work.

It is a overall very nice tool. The only real downside for me is that I have fairly large hands and this pin vise is just a little short for my hands, otherwise it is a good tool with good fit and finish, and a nice and smooth rotation of the top. If it was a little longer it would be one of the best pin vises that I have.
