This grill is well built and works as expected. However. Putting charcoal in it or cleaning it is a nightmare since the grate will not life out of the way.I made a simple modification to my grill. I took a hacksaw and cut a notch above the front grate cross brace adjustment area. Now the grate lifts up and tilts back.Now I can use a chimney charcoal starter to start the charcoal, tilt the grate back, dump in the charcoal, and then lower the grate back into place. When it is time to clean out the grill I just repeat The process once the coals are 100% cool and the grill is cool.Now it works exactly like the grill at my local park. Also makes it easier to clean the underside of the grate.

It’s a great grill. Quality built easy assembly. I have several grills if various types but I had to have this when I saw it. It is both nostalgia for me from the campgrounds but also a good grill to cook on with the easily adjustable cooking height etc, It’s a great product and was shipped really fast. I got it in time for the 4th of July holiday cookouts!

We have a couple of these at our farm and they are awesome. Quick and easy to install and work great. The covers don't last very long, so plan on picking up a $12.00 cover after about a year.

Received a unit with a terrible error when the item was manufactured. The bottom of the unit where the hot coals should sit was welded to the wrong side, so the notches for the handles are upside down.As for the rest of the grill, the pole that goes into the ground is heavy and strong and looks good. If the grill wasn't defective it would have been OK, not as heavy duty as true park grill, it's walls are about 1/16th of an inch think. The grate for cooking on is not nice though. Ours came bent and looked poorly made, very poor quality.A huge problem with this grill is that once put together, the cooking grates cannot be removed, or flipped up. This means that you can not sure a charcoal chimney starter, and also it would make it tough to clean.I will contact this seller to see what they can do to fix this. I will update the review as things progress. I have uploaded a picture of the defect and poor quality grate.
