The case is bad but come on, how bad can a case be? Not important. The tools are good. I use mine for wood turning and they do the trick.

Love them. Heavy duty, great quality. Haven't used the inside calipers yet but outside ones are getting a lot of work helping me be consistent in bowl thickness from rim to bottom. Dividers are a must for mortise and tenons.

Nice set, but not super high quality. It will perform the task and my standards may be pretty high as I worked with medical instruments and have high quality tools for my wood working and general mechanical work. If you are not seeking the high end then these will suffice.

They do the job. Seem to hold up well. My complete would be the coating goes all the way down to the points/ends. We are not sending rockets into space, we have a hydraulic repair shop and for us these work fine.

I am Very impressed by the Heavy Duty build of these and would recommend them to anyone. These sould last a live time and then some if you keep them sprayed with a light coat of lube.

Took a little to clean them up, they were full of grease. But they are very well made. I am glad I got this set.

These instruments are very well made and solid, but do have a couple flaws. First, the case is poorly designed and it's almost guaranteed that the tools will fall out if the case is held at anything but the ideal angle. Second, I would prefer a more durable surface. These are shipped covered in oil, which pretty much means that they know the tools can rust. Why not just chrome them so that isn't an issue? However these tools are far better than another set I bought in the past and with reasonable care will probably last a lifetime. All in all these are excellent tools that are solid, precise and functional.
