Not all of this stuff will fit in the holes in your M1/M14/M1A butt-stock. There needs to be a diagram for the correct way to insert all of this and suggestions on what choices you have/should make in regard to which pieces to use. I have plenty of good cleaning tools at home, and got this to keep in the butt-stock on the off chance that I should ever find myself on the move with this weapon, unable to get to my home or other better cleaning tools and need to be able to service it in the field. I want to stuff it and forget it, but it will not all fit, so....

It’s a nice cleaning kit. But for anybody that is purchasing this for an M1 Garand Butt stock: It all does not fit inside.

the chamber brush ratchet is made of plastic and came apart wile trying to pull it out of the chamber had to push it out with the cleaning rod this is the main reason i got this cleaning kit and the fact that it fits in the stock but with the grease and oil tube it all dont fit could be my stock over all expensive could have pieced it together for way less if i wasn't to picky and it went up even more since i got it lol wow $71 i should make these

Great cleaning kit for an M1a with a wood stock. It’s a tight fit with no room for the ratcheting tool. The pull string on the case broke on first use and needed to be reattached and reinforced for use.
