I am a cabinetry installation contractor and was hoping to get into the cordless Pinner market.I use this gun and it jams every 2-3 shots. I really am dissatisfied with this and I can't even return it because the window for returns closed on the 29th of August.Very, very disappointed with this.

Save your money and go batterie, I hardly use the 18 and 23 gauge nailers I bought from Grex, now they wont shoot nails anymore even with full gas cartridge's and batteries, Grex customer service is not good either. My friend has a $99 Ryobi and it works every time, embarrassing but true.

I LOVE THE FACT I DO NOT HAVE TO LUG AROUND MY COMPRESSOR AND DRAG CORDS. ONE CARTRIDGE IS AROUND 1000 SHOTS, AND BATTERIES LAST FOREVER. I ALSO OWN THE GC1850 18 GAUGE NAILER. I WAS HOOKED THE MOMENT I DEMOED IT AT THE WOODWORKING SHOW. AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS SECOND TO NONE. THE GUYS OVER THERE ARE VERY KNOWLEDGABLE AND WILLING TO HELP. I WOULD 100% RECOMMEND GREX BRAND

So this gun for most people is temperamental. Is a great tool? I think so but you have to learn to use it correctly. It is a fuel cell operated tool. The expanding air from the ignited fuel cell has to drive the driver and fastener AND retract the driver all the way up for the next pin. When working quickly it is easy to depress the safety (which not just about safety), which is when the fuel cell releases a volume of gas, and too little gas is allowed to fill the chamber to drive the pin AND RETRACT the driver. Causing the next shot to misfire and the gun needs to be opened up, driver reset and put back together. I have learned to depress the safety and wait a half a second before firing. I keep the gun clean, but yes I have also bought a hex screw driver to take it apart when it malfunctions. It is still the gun my crew pulls out of my truck first but it isnt perfect. Would I buy it again? Probably.

I've been doing finish carpentry for 45 years. I would have retired a long time ago if I had this tool. The thing is bonkers good and best of all it shoots 2 inch stainless pins into anything. Be careful and enjoy!
