I am an earthen builder and often plaster with clay or lime. I previously have used only high end Japanese trowels, and was skeptical but still wanted to give this one a shot.I'm pleased with how it handles, and have used it for one 120 sqft roundhouse interior and exterior plaster (about 2 weeks of use) and there is no sign it is coming apart.I have taken very good care of it—cleaning it after every use and never letting it stay wet and it is holding up well.

I use a trowel almost daily, and my favorite trowel recently was dropped and got bent. If you work with trowels, you understand how tragic this is. So far, this has been almost a perfect replacement!I just hope it holds up!

Been using it for le habra Finish in bathrooms. Great for tight areas, corners, and other Oddball spots to small for a normal Finish trowel.

I have so many different kinds of trowels but always fall back on an expensive trapezoid style for venetian plaster and level 5 finishing. Everything is in storage right now, needed to do a small job, decided to order this because of the price and the pointed tip. So glad I did. Was working five minute mud in really obscure tight places, and this thing worked it with ease. It's incredibly lightweight, almost flimsy compared to most of my other trowels, but it worked so well that's it's officially my number 2 trowel. The only thing that would have made this better is some kind of edge protector or case, since the metal is so thin.

Used this to do Venetian plaster wall covering in a small powder room. Worked great and so much cheaper than the one available at the paint supplier. High quality and well made.

We purchased this for getting in those tight spots when plastering our walls (with Venetian plaster). This trowel is light weight, sturdy, comfortable to use. Would buy again.

This was my first Japanese finish trowel, and let me tell you, it makes a heck of a difference in tightening up finish plaster. It is a bit thin, and feels delicate, but used on leather hard plaster smoothes out flaws and tidies up everything. Very pleased with this tool.
