This clock's manufacturer did such a good job! The buttons needed to be pushed to change functions are on top of the clock -EASILY seen, used, and allow you to adjust numbers up AND down! The instructions (on the top of the clock as well as in the manual) are, if you can believe it, printed large enough to read EASILY, describes in detail everything about using the clock in clear language!I am very pleased with the looks and usage of this clock. It even, if chosen, chimes each hour with different sounds. My favorite sounds like a cuckoo clock!

If you are the type of person who loses track of time, then you can choose to have it announce the time every hour (there are also other chime sounds), and you can adjust the specific starting and ending hours of the chime/annoucing feature. The display also offers a variety of brightness/color settings if you want to keep your blue light to a minimum and you can even adjust different brightness settings for day and night time. It also offers alarms and reminders, although I haven't used that. Overall, I have to commend this on being the rare product where there seems to be some real thought put into practical features/user application as opposed to just trying to look like something sophisticated/impressive. Definitely one of the better products you can buy for $30 if it has application for you!

Customizable (if you set the “Tips”). In taking care of a disabled woman…this clock is sooo much better than another I found on here. This gives a better sense of what’s going on all day and what’s upcoming as well!10 stars for the added function! Someone else commented that you can’t set custom text, but you can. You just have to specify the wording under “tips”. It’s really easy!

Do you have a grandparent or parent who is older... Retired... Having a hard time remembering what day it is? This is perfect! My mom set it up for my 97 year old grandmother and it was easy enough for both to set up and use! It even has alarms for meds, etc. This was an amazing find! I even referred it to a coworker for her aging mother.

Very happy with this calendar/clock. I didn't really need the clock part, but I like the different modes & colors you can play with. I was almost ready to return it until I checked back to the page I bought it from & found out the settings were on the remote, I'm glad I rechecked because I'm really enjoying it now. Good product for the money.

Did have a slight concern on ordering, but now set up, its quite a nice product.As another person mentioned, setting the clock is straight forward enough even if one does have little capacity, most of it is just following the display requests. There is plenty of scope in the settings to find the right one for yourself.Its priced at £29 for the 7inch version and am solely tempted at the larger version of 10inch also.I just hope this item will last longer than a few months!HOWEVER, what has become quickly apparent, the display though being AM still shows as NIGHT?.Still waiting for a result from the seller about this issue.

My 84 year old mom with dementia really loves this clock. She can still read and comprehend which helps her orient to her environment. She was having difficulty using a regular clock and understanding what it meant. I took one star off as the voice function is not useable for her. It is too electronic sounding which doesn't work for her current hearing state.

What not to like about this Digital Calendar and Clock? It is a game changer for me. It is easy to operate. All the function buttons are on top of the unit making it easier to operate. It has so many the features that will help to make my daily routine go smoothly. I was so amaze with the large and bright display. The built in clock was a plus. Once I plugged in the power adapter, the current time and date was displayed. I love the cool features of setting reminders, birthdays, and holidays, which are a big deal to me. I dont have to miss any important dates or celebrations.The 10 color modes and auto dimmable, and the personalize precise timing makes the unit even more unique. You can never have a dull moment in time 😅.Last but not least, if you don't feel like going to the unit to change the settings, no worries, the remote control can be use from anywhere in the room to make changes. It also reads out the time.I love it so much that I will buy again and give it to my family member as Christmas gift.
