Im huge GM fanboy but these things are probably the most outrageously priced seals i have ever seen in my life. Went to the dealer and they wanted 24 dollars a piece for these things.....its a plastic O ring thats about 1/2 inch in diameter......absolute gouging.....these on amazon were the cheapest i could find

Aftermarket seals that came with P/S hose did not work. These worked great and were very easy to install. Throw the cheap seals away that came with your hose or pump and use these.

if you’ve ever had GM power steering issues - then you know the headache that this seal can cause.after searching high & low for this tiny little seal that creates such a major hassle - amazon came in clutch with this one single seal & for ≈$10…. couldn’t find it anywhere else for less than ≈$45 for a pack of 4 & couldn’t buy any less than that.so when i only needed 1….i would have had to buy 4 & spend $35 extra bucks…then i found this one & was able to get it by the next day… for a quarter of the price. & it’s GM genuine & not a knock off.can’t beat that.holds up like a charm.make sure you seat this seal first. .. you’ll split it & then you’ll have to get ya self another onethey are a real PITA … almost as bad as rethreading the power steering pressure line back on the block…. almost … depends on whether or not it splits on you.make sure you have removed the old one… you’ll need a pick… it has a metal ring that seats IN the block… hard to see the old one … it’s there. you’ll know if it’s out by whether ornot there’s a groove that the new seal can seat into & then will be flush with the face of the block….. GOOD LUCK! & if you can’t get it…. take a break. come back to it tomorrow. the metal threads HAVE to line up PERFECTLY STRAIGHT IN LINE & LEVEL with the threads you’re screwing into…. metal on metal threads can be EASILY cross threaded / just messed up in general… then you have a bigger problem on your hands - so take a break. sleep on it …. it really is as hard as it feels to be. don’t overthink it.it has to be perfectly level! can’t stress this.source - the 9 hours i spent trying to thread new high pressure line into power steering block & finally getting it only to realize i didn’t seat the seal correctly & ripped it & it was leaking all over again :) hence how i found my way here !PATIENCE!
