Cover fits very tightly, may be an issue with hot food. Carrying case appears to be sturdy

I am often bringing food to relatives. The casserole dish is a nice size, a little shallow compared to some of my older pieces. I like the carrier for obvious ease but also to protect my car from spills. My only issue is that I absolutely cannot get the hard plastic top on the dish!

This is a really nice glass casserole dish with carrier. It's really well made and strong and durable. I have made some pretty heavy dishes in it and put it in the carrier and transported no issues. I would love that it comes with a lid because it's not only can I transport that way but you can just cover it and stick it in the fridge and take it out and put it straight in the oven to reheat. Really nice. Easy to clean.
