My daughter loves wearing this shirt, especially in the colder fall weather.It is wonderful because:- it is super cute!- the buttons work well- it is warm and pretty cuddly but not hot- it is a good length and basically true to size, though it may run a little smallDrawbacks:- the pockets don't actually open and close- it is a little scratchy inside

So off the bat, I will say if you want this to fit more like a jacket or comfy throw on (kind of shown on the model) to wear over a shirt, you may want to size up. I ordered the 9-10 for my daughter (turning 10 in a couple of months) and it 'just' fits her, if she was wearing it as a shirt only. To wear it open and comfortable, I should have sized up. (And keep in mind she's on the lower end of that projected size range, and I doubt this will fit her next year or after a couple of washings).She loves the print, and had no complaints. She thinks it's beautiful. As a mama, I know it's a cheaper material, and the construction is not the highest quality (had some loose threads, and again, not sure how this will stand up to washing). No doubt she will get some use out of this for playing.At current price-point of over $25, it's more than I would pay for this.

This is an average flannel shirt for kids. It is true to the size and it fits well. My daughter is almost 10 years old so I got the size for 9-10 years, and it fits perfectly! The fabric has some loose threads, lint looking tiny threads in it that I have to remove. Quality is okay. I think it’s over priced.
