Bought for my partner for a gift, he loves it. The handle was kind of annoying to put on, but the company provides the screwdriver you need right in the box! That was an excellent surprise. The whistle is quite loud and the kettle looks very nice.

The kettle is lightweight and feels a little thin in the materials, but it works as intended. We have not noticed any discoloration and the spout pours without spillage or run off. We like the wood handle "look", but the feel isn't there.The only thing we did not care for is the position of your hand on the handle and being able to squeeze the spout lid release. The steam comes up close to your hand with the handle on top and the lever where it is.We felt it was a little more expensive than it should be, but it is functional.

This is actually the second one of these I have purchased. First one lasted 6 years before the handle broke. (The little spring in the part that opens the spout came off and got lost) I like that it actually makes a good whistle when the water boils. It looks nice and does the job for a fair price! No issues with rust and the handle doesn't get too hot to hold. I drink hot tea everyday, sometimes multiple times a day and I recommend this kettle.
