Mine came in bent. Was difficult to straighten but I did. Steel and heat treating were good but the quality of the machining was terrible. Using the term German is deceiving, German craftsmanship was not used to make this tool.

These pliers are the perfect addition to my jewelry making tool kit. I can make six different size loops for making jump rings, earrings and etc. They are a very versatile and so far seem to be well made and very reasonably priced.

Well made pliers. Close tolerance hinge with little or no slop. I used these to bend various size solid brass rods up to 1/8" in diameter with no problem.

I've been practicing with 18 gauge dead soft copper wire, and I'm very pleased with the results. I'm going to use these for making eye pins, uniform wrapped loops on links for bracelets and necklaces, and earring dangles. I sometimes like to make hook and eye closures for necklaces, and these will keep my attaching loops even, and give me different size curves for the hooks. The finish is nice and smooth, and didn't mark the soft wire I've been practicing with.
